Bari Azman is Vice President of Marketing and Wearable Technology for Low Vision Specialists of MD & VA, a multi-office practice that specializes in working with patients suffering from low vision caused by macular degeneration, Stargardt’s Disease, Retinitis Pigmentosa, Albinism, Diabetic Retinopathy, and other eye diseases. He is a seasoned and highly experienced marketing executive who has significantly increased the footprint and services of the practice in order to increase access to treatment. Under his leadership the practice has opened seven new regional offices in Maryland and Virginia and is one of the first to offer advanced medical devices as they receive FDA approval.

Under Bari’s guidance, the practice has developed innovative partnerships that have expanded the type and number of wearable technologies currently available to patients in the Maryland and Virginia area. He was part of the team that collaborated with Samsung in the development of IrisVision, the most advanced medical device for low vision patients on the market today. Bari was also instrumental in the launch of the advanced eSight product throughout the Northeast, which gained NBC affiliate coverage.

Prior to working at Low Vision Specialists of MD & VA, Bari established himself as an expert launch and business growth specialist with startups supplying the global airline industry. He served as President of IDT Jets where he administered more than fifteen overseas manufacturing facilities and directed sourcing, creative, retail and business development. While in that role Bari also guided investors in the purchase of a retired 747 for an Air Force One museum currently in development.
