It’s time for VisionWalk 2019 ! This 5K walk has raised more than $45 million for degenerative eye disease research since its inception in 2006 and this year LVS is posting a team . We want to be a blockbuster fundraiser for the cause and have set a goal of raising $10,000 in pledges. Will you join us in believing in the power of eye disease research to change lives?

VisionWalk is a Foundation for Fighting Blindness(FFB) event. It takes places in nearly 50 cities across the nation and ours is presented by the FFB Baltimore Chapter. Our very own Bari Azman was recently appointed as a Baltimore Chapter board member and is very proud to say, “FFB makes a significant difference in the lives of those living with low vision and blindness”. The millions of dollars the foundation has been raising since 1971 helps to find cures for the leading causes of blindness worldwide – namely retinal degenerative diseases.

The walk takes place on June 2nd and nearly 350 participants are expected to walk the three miles through Latrobe Park and Fort McHenry. Families and children walk together because families and children experience the trauma of degenerative eye disease.

We want you to join us! Every day in our practice we witness the powerful, life changing experiences of those who have their sight enhanced with innovative medical devices. You can experience that power as well by giving, supporting and walking to fund degenerative eye disease research.

Please read more about the walk on our team page where you can join the walk and donate.
