PRESTIGIOUS TELECONFERENCE FOR BRIGHT FOCUS FOUNDATION

Timonium, MD – November 29th, 2016: Low Vision Specialists of Maryland & Virgina (LVS) will host a teleconference for the prestigious Bright Focus Foundation on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 1 pm. Stephen Azman, CPO, LVS Director of Patient Care will lead the conference entitled “Short Days, Long Nights: Low Light and Other Challenges of the Holiday Season” that will present strategies for living with low vision during the holidays and the shorter, darker days of winter. Bright Focus Foundation is a non-profit health charity renowned for its work at the forefront of brain and eye health and advancing early-stage, investigator-initiated research around the world, including the work of two Nobel Prize winners. The organization promotes awareness of Alzheimer’s, macular degeneration, and glaucoma.

LVS, a member of The International Academy of Low Vision Specialists (IALVS), specializes in maximizing patient vision and customizing optical systems for adults and geriatric patients suffering with significant vision loss, including those who are legally blind.
